History
The Boxer originates from 19th-century Germany and descends from the Bullenbeisser and early Mastiff-type dogs. Known for loyalty and working ability, Boxers served as hunting companions, guard dogs, and later as military and police dogs. They became popular in the US after World War II, admired for their athleticism, trainability, and affectionate nature.
